About Jan

Jan Kaatze is a German film composer, cellist and producer creating intimate cinematic sound worlds through the combination of acoustic instruments, contemporary classical music and electronic textures.

Rooted in classical music and inspired by contemporary sound worlds, he develops a musical language that combines intimacy, atmosphere and emotional depth. His work spans film scoring and contemporary classical music, always guided by curiosity and experimentation.
